During one of my last few days in Iceland I drove back to the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and the nearby black-sand beaches to see if any fresh icebergs had washed ashore, as indeed they had. This iridescent blue iceberg, polished by the waves, was beautifully backlit and was glowing from within when I set up my tripod and took this photograph.
Aurora Sky
Cold-weather shooting at minus 15°C can be painful, but patience pays off eventually. This was a 30-second exposure of some of the most spectacular aurora dance moves I've ever seen.
Icelandic Horses
There are just a few hours of daylight in December in Iceland. And it's cold. But my new friends kind of enjoy the sunset. Or is it the sunrise?

Waterfall
WaterfallI took this photo some weeks ago while traveling to Iceland for a photo reportage. The man is so little, and the power of nature is amazing. I hoped this difference could be captured in this picture.
